I would like to share some sad news..
My mother passed on at the end of July. The last couple of months were very hard and had little quality of life in them. She was extremely brave and did not complain at any given time, it was the rest of us who thought it very, very hard to watch and only be able to do so much to help.
The last two days she was in the hospital, due to no lung capacity left. The worry was that she would suffocate but in the end her heart gave out and she slept peacefully the last hours.
After 3 months in Denmark it's weird and nice at the same time to be back here. We have not missed the humidity and the hot weather. We're all sorry to have missed all the events of the summer with you guys and look forward to seeing you all again ;-)

So sorry to hear about your mother, I'm sure it was hard for you all to see her that way.
Look foward to seeing you and the girls sometime soon.

It is good to have you back in the USA. We would love to have you come up and spend some time in Lax, you always have a room at our house. I only was exposed to your mother two times, she was "a hell of a woman" and lived a good and full life. I hope when my time comes people will mark my passing with a joke and a beer and say I enjoyed my time with my friends and family. I have seen too many of the people I loved pass, but you have to carry on so here is to all of those that have passed on to what is an unknown, we live our lives for you because we are who we are due to the example you set for us.
I'm sos sorry to hear about your mother. I'm glad you and the girls were able to spend some time with her this summer.
Hope to see you soon.

Hi Susanne,
Our thoughts have been with you. I'm sorry we couldn't be there to support you.
Your strength and ability to see the silver lining in such events has always been remarkable. I hope you have found peace in your mom's passing.
Send our love and well wishes to the girls and Millie.
Love,
Karen
