Good news all around
Beth,
That is awesome news! Right up your alley (get it alley, tornado alley, I crack myself up). Karen, good luck with the nursing thing -- I'm sure you'll do awesome. Tell Jeff congrats on the schooling, very exciting.
As for us, nothing new. I interviewed for a third grade job today, but it is still in BRF. I'm not too worried about getting it, as I have a job either way. I've been applying in La Crosse and Onalaska, so a job in either of those districts would obviously be ideal.
Ellie and Josh are doing well. Ellie is back to her old self -- just waiting for a massive tooth explosion. She's been eating like a cow lately and her gums are ready to burst. Josh gets to take some of the good bad kids to a Twins game in a few weeks, so that should be fun. Other than that, same old, same old.
Hopefully you're all keeping the Father's Day invite in mind...

Staying put in Colorado...
Congratulations, Beth! That sounds like a real adventure! I hope you like Topeka, and your new job. Jeff and I have decided to stay put for the time being in Colorado. We are very excited to announce that Jeff was accepted to Colorado State University's Graduate Program in Social Work. He will begin this fall. I have decided to try my hand at nursing, and I am applying to 3 programs: Regis University in Denver, University of Health and Sciences at Boulder, and Laramie at University of Wyoming. So, keep your fingers crossed! We will be moving to Madison and returning to the midwest in June of 2008. Hope everyone else is doing well...Mary, keep us updated. You are often in my thoughts!
Karen
P.S. Sorry about the other posts, I am still learning about blogs.

Bu-Bye WI!
The rumors are true. I'm packing up my overalls, throwing on some ruby slippers and moving to Kansas.
Yes, Kansas.
I've accepted a position at the National Weather Service in Topeka (www.crh.noaa.gov/top). Everything is still in the preliminary stages...but I know that I'm required to move the 30th and 31st of May and begin work the first day of June.
I'm actually very excited. I mean really, how often do meteorologists get placed in tornado alley? And the fact that my car is already covered in hail dents, I have the perfect vehicle to storm chase in.
What more could a girl want? :)
So if you're ever in Kansas, the invitation is extended for all to stop by and visit!
